System-Centric
System is controlled in a closed or open loop control system. Talking in more natural language, the problem has context.
Computer-Centric
Computer implements instructions in software to control system. The computer does not care about context (if register R14 is set to 1, do something).
System Components
Design choices are made based on timescale and moving parts. When you add humans to a system, it introduces lots of variance.
